The fluted glass look, without replacing the glass.
Real fluted glass means replacing the glass panels. Fluted film goes onto the glass you already have, and with no grooves to trap grease, it's easy to wipe clean. Pair it with a door or cabinet wrap for a full makeover.

Good to know: it's a flat film that gives the fluted look from across the room. Up close you'll see it's flat. For bathrooms we use a frosted fluted film for full privacy.

Your doors and cabinet boxes stay in use. Only the surface changes, and a new front isn't made, delivered and thrown away later.
The film is plastic (PVC) and can't be recycled in Singapore today. That's why we only wrap what's worth keeping, and fix it so the wrap lasts.
How we worked this out
Film: ours is a 0.2 mm PVC architectural film (maker's technical data). Its maker doesn't publish a roll weight, so we use the closest published figure for the same type of film: a 50 m × 1.22 m roll of 3M DI-NOC (61 m², also 0.2 mm PVC) weighs at most about 25 kg with liner and core, so about 0.41 kg per m² at most.
Board: North American MDF is about 727 kg per m³. An 18 mm panel is 0.018 m³ per m², so about 13.1 kg per m².
This compares material weight only. We don't claim a carbon figure, because no film maker we checked publishes a full life-cycle number for its interior film.

Will the wrap peel?
Wraps usually fail at edges and corners, from grease or dust under the film, a swollen or chipped surface, or edges that weren't finished properly. So we clean and degrease every panel and repair swollen edges, dents and loose hinges before any film goes on. If an edge lifts or a bubble appears within the warranty period, we re-wrap that panel free.
Is it okay in Singapore humidity?
Our film maker tested it for 28 days at 40 °C and 90% humidity with no change to the finish. On the job, what matters most is the surface: clean, dry, sound and primed. Spots that get wet often, like right next to a sink, need extra care, and for toilets we use anti-mould finishes. If we see water damage, the leak gets fixed first.
Can you wrap the cabinets near the stove?
Most kitchen cabinet fronts, yes. But we don't wrap panels right next to the hob or around the cooker hood. Our film maker advises against it because the film has no fire resistance. We also don't wrap countertops, which take heat, knocks and cutting. We'll mark those panels on your quote so there are no surprises.
How long does it last?
It depends on the film, the surface underneath and where it is. Doors and cabinet fronts last longer than flat tops, which take knocks, heat and water. Our Japanese film passed its maker's heat, humidity and abrasion tests. A wrap delays replacing your doors and cabinets. It doesn't end it.
Can you wrap over damaged or peeling laminate?
That's what we're set up for. We remove loose laminate, fill dents and chips, sand the surface flat and fix loose hinges first. If the damage goes too deep, like a rotten cabinet box or a badly warped door, we'll tell you before we start.
Do I need my condo management's approval?
Most condo management offices want to be told about, or approve, work inside a unit, even small non-structural work. Check with yours before booking. We'll give you any details they ask for.
Is the film safe indoors?
In the maker's test (JIS A6921), no formaldehyde was detected from our film. Most of its finishes also meet ASTM E84 Class A for surface burning. That's a US standard, so we don't use it to claim any Singapore approval.
How do I pay?
A 20% deposit by PayNow books your date (minimum S$80). Pay the balance by PayNow when the job is done and you've checked it. Every job comes with a written quote and an invoice showing the job date and warranty.

Can't I just DIY it with a cheap sticker?
For a small, flat, undamaged surface you don't mind redoing, sure. The usual problems are bubbles, crooked cuts and corners that lift, and a sticker can't fix dents, loose hinges or swollen edges underneath. For entrance doors, whole kitchens and anything damaged, we fix first, then wrap, and give you a warranty.
